SPOILER Fitz, Nighteyes, and the Fool. A thank you to Robin. (I did a bad, and need to re-upload this). I wanted to share my feelings on the end of our story. I finished reading Assassin's Fate yesterday. So beware spoilers for every book in the Realm of the Elderlings. I started reading the Farseer trilogy quite late.

Dutiful's wife, Nettle, Fool as Amber, Bee when she was young. Molly most of all - I never liked her. Am I the only one that never really "felt" the relationship with her and Fitz?One of the things I didn't like is I felt like the book took too much time with Rainwild and Liveship stuff.

Assassin's Fate provides a beautiful, largely satisfying conclusion to the story of Fitz, the Fool and Nighteyes by finally giving us the ending promised by the last line of Assassin's Quest:.

We never really got a clear answer on what is going on, I think. during the golden fool trilogy, nighteyes was always the one who made it clear that he did not want to live on as a consciousness inside of fitz and that he wanted to die as his own being.

SPOILER About the end of the Assassin's Fate Spoilers All I would like to hear your thoughts about the ending of the series, in particular about the Wolf of the West, and how Fitz and the Fool enter it (with Nighteyes). For me, it was devastating.

Nah, it'll be Fitz, the Fool, and Nighteyes. It was foreshadowed by the carving the Fool did. I also can't see Kettricken entering Fitz's dragon rather than Verity's; I think she'll be a late joiner to Verity-as-Dragon. The Fool, or various other aliases, is a White who believes himself the White Prophet of his age and that Fitz is his Catalyst. The Fool's physical appearance changes throughout the series. He regularly suffers from a flu-like illness which leaves him bedridden for several days, after which his skin sloughs off to reveal darker skin underneath. The Fool is introduced in the Farseer Trilogy as.

Well for The Fool I'd say something made with apricots/apricot brandy since that's specifically a repeated plot point with him. For Nighteyes I can't stop thinking about this diner I used to go to as a kid that had "chocolate mouse" which was chocolate covered mousse on a slice of sponge cake that looked like a mouse, with almond slice ears and a chocolate tail.

The only real constants are Fitz, the Fool, Chade, and to a certain extent Nighteyes. Doorstopper : The main series books are all well over 500 pages, with some pushing 1,000. The Dragons Come Back : All the series revolve to a greater or lesser extent around the return of dragons and their Elderling servants.
